Catechetical seminars are organised for religious and lay animators on various catechetical topics. The group can approach the director for the same and can organise in their own settings or at Nitika Don Bosco. But it should be arranged at least three months prior to the scheduled programme.
Nitika Don Bosco offers residential training programme for the parish lay/missionary catechists, Catechism teachers and other lay faithful interested in faith education. This course covers the basics of our catholic faith. The course consists of 25 hours of classes touching on the Biblical, sacramental, liturgical, moral, doctrinal, devotional, and ecclesial catechesis. The courses are offered in different languages (English, Bengali, Hindi, Santhali and Nepali). To know the scheduled dates of this trainings go into our programme calendar 2023-2024.
This course is organised to help the participants become basic Bible literate within two years. It is not a residential course. Each day is dedicated to one or two Books of the Bible. The classes are held on weekends. For the Hindi speaking group, it is held on Saturdays twice a month from 3pm to 6pm and for the English-speaking group on Sundays from 10am to 1 pm. If a group approaches for a residential course then the facilities may be availed for the same.
This animation tries to instill in them a love for the Lord and His Church and to encourage them to be the best agents of change. It also tries to help them in their self discovery and giving them a mission and recognition.
Nitika Don Bosco offers Catechetical Animation for the young Religious and brothers. They are introduced to CCC, CCCC, YOUCAT,DOCAT and Youth Catechesis. They are given the practice for preparing Catechetical Lesson plans and organizational skills.
Nitika Don Bosco Organizes animation for the School Catechism teachers as well as Sunday Catechism Teachers at Nitika Don Bosco. The animation aims at giving them methodological skills, updates on faith and sacraments and the faith responsibility of Catholic teachers in their respective places of work and ministry.
